[Update 3 Jun 2024] New images of the Nike SB PS8 “Olympic” (a shoe that pays homage to Sandy Boedecker, the powerful creative force behind various Nike shoe lines, including the SB) have surfaced, courtesy of @sneakerknockerzllc<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nike SB is dropping a brand new skate shoe, the PS8, in honor of skateboarding’s debut at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The shoe pays tribute to the late Sandy Bodecker, who oversaw the launch of Nike SB. The pair’s moniker is derived from the late legend’s Instagram handle, “@problemsolver8<\/a>“. Alongside the silhouette’s appearance in “Ultramarine”<\/a>, an “Olympic” pair will also be dropping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Built for skaters, the Nike SB PS8 combines durability, impact resistance, and a precise board feel. The upper features a mix of Flyknit and leather with a breathable PU coating. This specific “Olympic” edition stands out with a safari print on the mudguard and heel counter, a signature detail of the series. The shoe’s innovative midsole boasts a unique foam compound and nylon plate for heightened responsiveness during skating. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
