[Update 27 May 2024] Following the recent release of the MARQUEE PLAYER x mita sneakers x New Balance 580 GORE-TEX, new images have surfaced offering a live look at the actual pair, beyond the polished finish of its official product views.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Update 21 May 2024] The tripartite collaborative sneaker from MARQUEE PLAYER, mita sneakers, and New Balance will use the latter’s 580 GORE-TEX model as the canvas, with a color palette consisting of Black and Blue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The upper boasts a unique Blue splash pattern, drawing inspiration from MARQUEE PLAYER’s signature water-repellent spray for sneakers. A look inside will reveal the insole printed with Mita Sneakers’ signature wire mesh and “Tokyo Kai” graphics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shoes are crafted from waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX for superior performance. They also feature a Vibram sole for excellent traction. Despite all this, they are surprisingly lightweight. New Balance’s Phantom Fit technology ensures a secure and comfortable fit, while the quick lace system with stoppers allows for a customization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A cryptic teaser has surfaced hinting at a potential three-way collaboration between Tokyo’s mita sneakers, Japanese sneaker care brand MARQUEE PLAYER, and New Balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The image accompanying the post features the silhouette bathed in a mysterious glow, hinting the use of luminescent materials and a Vibram outsole. The pair remains very much an enigma but expect an official unveiling soon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
