[Update 7 Apr 2025] Recent shifts in the meta have seen Silhouhatte Rabbit gain more prominence in tournament decks. This is because it can set a Continuous Trap from the deck that can Summon itself as a monster; following this, if a card in the Spell & Trap Zone is Special Summoned to the Monster Zone, the player can target and destroy one Spell or Trap on your opponent\u2019s field. This makes it a viable counterplay option against various decks\u2014most notably the Tenpai Dragon deck. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s very easy to see how Konami came up with the concept of the Silhouhatte Rabbit card\u2014by subverting the usual trope of a magician pulling a rabbit out of a top hat. However, that isn’t one of the main reasons why this card has begun to garner interest among the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG fanbase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First off, this card comes in Quarter Century Secret Rare\u2014the rarity specifically created in commemoration of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG’s 25th anniversary. In addition to that, this card is the first-ever Illusion Link monster in the history of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG\u2014apt for a card based on the stereotypical magician’s image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This card also contains a reference to another card in the Infinite Forbidden<\/a> set. The Silhouhatte card’s artwork includes an image of Silhouhatte Rabbit as well; however, as that card is far more common than this one, it doesn’t have anywhere near the same level of desirability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This card is yet to be released in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The price tag of a Silhouhatte Rabbit (Infinite Forbidden INFO-JP052) card is 2,800 JPY (~US$18).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
