To honor the occasion, the museum entered a collaboration with Pok\u00e9mon, giving a Pok\u00e9mon-related touch to all things related to Vincent van Gogh. Among the items that came about via this collab was a promotional Pok\u00e9mon TCG card: Pikachu With Grey Felt Hat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the SVP Black Star Promos, the Pikachu With Grey Felt Hat card was illustrated by Naoyo Kimura and was a Pok\u00e9mon-themed take on van Gogh&#8217;s Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat painting. Those who remember the original painting will at once recognize the direct allusion here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pok\u00e9mon x Van Gogh Museum collaboration only ran for just over three months; as a result, copies of this card are limited and thus more valuable than most other promotional cards. Additionally, the fact that it&#8217;s Pikachu, the face of the Pok\u00e9mon franchise, featured on not just any promotional card, but one which is truly one-of-a-kind undoubtedly jacks up its value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an interesting twist, this card was only ever released in English.
