The brainchild of Grace Ladoja \u2014 Homecoming started out as a music festival in 2017 but has since transcended its grassroots to become a movement; a four-day cultural exchange, igniting conversations about the creative empowerment of the upcoming generation. A festival that \u201cbrings African creatives and creativity back to Africa and gives African creatives what they need to take their vision to the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

To celebrate Nigeria and commemorate this new beginning, Homecoming has paired with some of streetwear’s heavy-hitters to create a collection (from t-shirts to accessories and footwear) that features the best of contemporary culture, through the lens of Africa’s creative youth.<\/p>\n

There’s an array of t-shirts in the collection that includes St\u00fcssy’s \u201cOne World, One Love, Gidi Life, Forever Shine, United we Stand\u201d tee, with Off-White making a statement with theirs with the words: \u201cI SUPPORT YOUNG BLACK BUSINESSES\u201d.<\/p>\n

In addition to a top, Yoon Ahn\u2018s AMBUSH also produced a silver and a gold spell-out necklace. But perhaps one of the most interesting offerings is the Patta x Mephisto “Nigeria” Sandals adorned with a Patta Script logo on the upper decked in green, cream and brown, perfect for the festival terrain.<\/p>\n
