[Update 8 May 2024] Accompanying the arrival of campaign images, the Sean Wotherspoon x BAPE “Hidden Gems” collection is set to release on 11 May via BAPE and select retailers. Check out the shots in the gallery above as we anticipate the drop.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under Sean Wotherspoon’s accolades, you might find sneaker designer (think: one of 2018’s most popular sneakers, the Nike Air Max 1\/97), avid sneaker collector, store owner, and much more. He’s back with another big-brand collaboration again, this time with A Bathing Ape (BAPE) for a collection called “Hidden Gems”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Wotherspoon’s Instagram post, he worked with BAPE to design a unique iteration of the SW BAPE Camo, as well as denim, hemp, flannel, reversible t-shirts, 4-way crewnecks, and collectibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I’m endlessly grateful @bape_japan and the entire team for such a fun project!” he says in the caption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also teased that he added his vintage flavor and techniques to his favorite BAPE eras in order to produce pieces that would give fans the “best of both worlds,” further adding that there are intricate details that only seeing the pieces in person would bring to light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
