Metro Boomin’s KD 17 is a showstopper, inspired by the raw power of a storm. A Hyper Grape mesh base crackles with electric lightning bolt graphics, reflecting Metro’s signature energy and creativity. A clear, wavy TPU overlay adds a touch of Air Max Plus flair while letting the graphics underneath shine through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Personal touches abound. The tongue tag features the silhouette from Metro’s “NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES” album, and a heart graphic on the heel echoes his album merch. Inside, the tongue is embroidered with Leland Wayne, Metro’s real name. He also pays tribute to his mother, who passed away in 2022, by including her signature on the left heel and her initials on the left shoe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Metro Boomin x Nike KD 17 is set to hit Nike brick-and-click stores on 14 June 2024. It comes at an RRP of US$160 and will be available in men’s sizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
