The iconic Nike Air Jordan 1 High OG silhouette is getting a fresh makeover that celebrates two of North Carolina’s most famous exports: the Wright Brothers’ historic first flight at Kitty Hawk and basketball legend Michael Jordan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shoe features a classic white leather base with pops of university blue on the swoosh, mudguard, and collar. This blue hue is a nod to the University of North Carolina (UNC), Jordan’s alma mater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, Midnight Navy accents add depth to the collar and heel, while a golden yellow on the wings logo adds a touch of flair. To top it off, this special edition “First in Flight” theme is hinted at by a special tag on the tongue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nike WMNS Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG \u201cFirst in Flight\u201d is expected to hit shelves around 6 July with a retail price of US$180 in women’s sizes via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
