[Update 16 Jun 2025] The English version of one of this card’s rarer iterations\u2014card 222\/236 from Cosmic Eclipse\u2014has also experienced a massive price spike due to the upcoming international release of Black Bolt [BLK]<\/a> and White Flare [WHT]<\/a> on 18 July 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of its latest price increase, the sale price of this version of the Reshiram & Zekrom GX card from Cosmic Eclipse is now 47,050 JPY (~US$326).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Update 28 May 2025] The price of the English version of this card from Cosmic Eclipse has been surging at a remarkable rate\u2014likely due to the upcoming release of dual set Black Bolt [BLK]<\/a> and White Flare [WHT]<\/a>, headlined by Reshiram and Zekrom, on 18 July 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following its latest price spike, a copy of the Ultra Rare Reshiram & Zekrom GX card from Cosmic Eclipse has a sale price of 10,090 JPY (~US$70).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The box Legendaries of the Pok\u00e9mon Black and White video games, Reshiram and Zekrom were brought back in an eye-catching manner in the seventh-generation Dream League [SM11b] Pok\u00e9mon TCG expansion set. Reshiram & Zekrom GX, a Double Rare (RR) card, has seen its value increase rapidly in recent times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The card depicts the two Legendary Dragon-type Pok\u00e9mon of Unova primed for attack. In terms of game mechanics, this is somewhat fitting as this is a TAG TEAM card which implies that both Pok\u00e9mon are about to attack the opponent at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This card also includes a reference to the video games. Players who have just used the N’s Resolve Supporter card will benefit from a bonus to Reshiram & Zekrom GX’s Cross Break-GX attack which will likely pick off an additional Benched Pok\u00e9mon on the opponent’s side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This alludes to the climax of Pok\u00e9mon Black and White when N summons either Reshiram or Zekrom depending on the version being played. N himself can also be seen on the card, though not in the form of a close-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
