Renowned Japanese illustrator Hiroshi Nagai joins forces with sports giant MIZUNO for an eagerly anticipated sneaker collaboration, the “Hiroshi Nagai” Pack. This collection introduces three distinct sneakers that blend Nagai’s iconic tropical landscape art with MIZUNO’s athletic prowess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nagai, celebrated for his vibrant illustrations that have adorned record jackets for various artists since the 1980s, brings his unique color palette and graphical excellence to the MIZUNO collaboration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This partnership highlights each creator’s signature works and introduces new original drawings, specifically crafted for this release, enriching the collaboration’s exclusivity and originality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The “Hiroshi Nagai” Pack comprises three sneakers, each embodying the fusion of Nagai’s artistic flair and MIZUNO’s sports technology. A special shoe box, designed for the collaboration, further enhances the collectibility of these unique sneakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To celebrate the launch, a “Hiroshi Nagai POP-UP” event will take place at the Mizuno Shop in Shinsaibashi, featuring a launch event with advance sales on 22 March 2024, 6-9PM (JST) where Hiroshi Nagai himself will be present. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Attendees have the opportunity to purchase the collaboration sneakers at approximately US$200 ahead of the general release on 23 March, with autographs from Nagai available as a special bonus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
