In a departure from recent colorways, the next colorway of James Harden’s signature shoe line features classic tones. The adidas Harden Vol. 8 “Pioneer” lives up to its name, breaking the mold in both color scheme and structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead of the Vol. 8’s usual neon colors, the Better Scarlet shade of red pairs with Core Black and Cloud White. The Better Scarlet covers the portion from the sneaker’s rubber padding to the overhang on its circular EVA cage\u2014the standout differentiating feature on the shoe’s exterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Core Black upper emphasizes the sneaker’s sleek form and is matched with a Cloud White sole. The shoe’s overall color scheme is actually a reference to that of Harden’s Los Angeles Clippers team, somewhat resembling the Clippers’ 2022-23 “City Edition” jersey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The adidas Harden Vol. 8 “Pioneer” will be released on 1 March 2024 via adidas.com and the adidas CONFIRMED app. Each pair will go for US$160.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
