Although Michael Jordan’s final two years in the NBA with the Washington Wizards don’t usually come to mind when thinking of his legendary NBA career, his time in DC didn’t come and go without some memorable sneakers. To revive memories of those days, Jordan Brand will be releasing the Nike Air Jordan 12 “Wizards”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although MJ himself didn’t have the career finale for which he might have necessarily hoped, he did put on many different Player Exclusive (PE) sneakers during his time as a Wizards player. Last year, an Air Jordan 3 “Wizards” colorway, inspired by his stint in Washington, dropped. The same colorway will now make an appearance on the Air Jordan 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sneaker’s white leather upper and royal blue accents match the colors of the early 2000s Wizards jersey. It closely resembles the Air Jordan 12 Retro “French Blue”\u2014a 2004 sneaker originally intended to honor Jordan’s two years at the then-MCI Center (now Capital One Arena) before its design was ultimately modified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nike Air Jordan 12 “Wizards” is set for release in Holiday 2024. A pair of these sneakers will retail for US$210.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
