The 25th anniversary of Nike’s iconic Air Max Plus is almost here. To celebrate, Nike’s bringing back the Nike Air Max Plus “Battle Blue” after five years out of the rotation. Once it drops, it’s certain to take over Nike shelves everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two shades of blue\u2014the titular Battle Blue and Blue Glaze\u2014combine against a White backdrop. The White portion of the sneaker includes the tongue, laces, overlays, and midsoles. They match the blue elements of the shoe seamlessly, creating a look that’s both current and timeless all at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The upper features a gradient that transitions from a striking mid-blue to a gentler sky blue, bringing about airy, gentle vibes. The Black outsole grounds the general aesthetic and provides visual cohesion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The midfoot shanks and Air Units come in light blue, evoking underwater themes. In general, the “Battle Blue” is an excellent representation of the rich history and unyielding market relevance of the Air Max Plus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
