Reebok and Western Hydrodynamic Research (WHR) ready their first collaboration, bringing a beach-ready, eco-conscious element to two Reebok classics: the Club C 85 and the laid-back Beatnik slide, infusing them with WHR’s signature “beach utility” style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both pairs feature recycled fabrics and suede with the Club C 85 boasting a gum outsole, while the Beatnik slide sports an embroidered WHR logo on the strap and a brand patch on the footbed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are honored to be on Reebok\u2019s roster of collaborators,\u201d expressed WHR Founder, Pat Towersey. \u201cWe have been so excited to put our spin on the Club C 85, an iconic shoe that has been part of popular culture since the \u201880s, and of course the Beatnik, which is the perfect slide.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WHR x Reebok Club C 85 is priced at US$130; the Beatnik, US$120. Both will be released on WHR’s website on 9 February with a wider release at Reebok on the 16th. However, the Beatnik will remain a WHR exclusive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
