As the 35th anniversary of the iconic Nike Air Flight ’89 approaches, Nike’s seizing the opportunity to push it into the spotlight. Multiple inline styles of this sneaker are slated for released over the coming months\u2014including this colorway which remains unnamed for now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The colorway’s overall look can best be described as understated, minimalistic, yet tasteful. A primarily black shoe, the odd bits of University Blue that highlight the Swoosh and branding along the toe and tongue provide an intriguing visual contrast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To round out the sneaker’s aesthetic, small light grey areas are carefully placed against the black background, dispelling what would normally be a degree of monotony. It’s all put atop a white midsole\u2014leading to an image of effortless style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Priced at US$130 per pair, this Nike Air Flight ’89 should be available at Nike.com and select retailers before too long. Stay tuned for further information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
