This collection of STAUD x New Balance Collection marks the fifth collaboration between the two brands. The offering from the duo is heavily influenced by the surfing scene as surfing is a newfound passion of Sarah Staudinger who is the creative director of STAUD. The collection takes inspiration from the vintage Southern California surf scene, but added with more functionality details to the pieces.<\/p>\n

A wide range of apparel and footwear will be featured in this collection. The neoprene bonded bag and workout top with pockets at the chest and waist is a nod to\u00a0a surfer’s uniform which is essential for the sport’s scene.<\/p>\n

Zooming in to the footwear of the collection, two colorways will be featured on the classic New Balance XC-72 silhouette. The silhouette arrives in both multicolored and white\/cream looks. The multicolored colorway provides pops of sky blue, light lavender, navy, lemon yellow, and red orange while the white\/cream utilizes black laces to provide contrast.<\/p>\n

Beach-worthy apparel accompanies the STAUD x New Balance XC-72 sneakers to reiterate STAUD’s\u00a0kink for vibrant palette while capturing the essence of Cali’s surf culture.<\/p>\n

Release for the complete collection will be taking place on 21 July via STAUD and New Balance website. Both XC-72 colorways are priced at US$150 while the price range for the apparels range from US$70 to US$195.<\/p>\n
