To mark the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game (TCG), Konami is holding The Legend of Duelist: Quarter Century event at the Tokyo Dome on 3-4 February 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the event will include a wide range of attractions and activities, the most obvious draw for Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG enthusiasts has to be the event-exclusive booster packs, Structure Decks, and promotional cards to be released over the event\u2019s weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three booster packs will be released during the event. One of these is the Premium Pack: The Legend of Duelist Quarter Century Edition. Each pack contains four cards; there are 10 packs within each box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any of 18 different cards originally printed in 1999 could appear in this pack; each of these 18 cards may have either the original or current card layout. Of the original-layout cards, 16 are Ultra Rare and two are Secret Rare; all 18 of the cards with the current layout are Ultra Rare. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other two booster packs, Rush Duel The Legend of Duelist Promotion Pack and The Legend of Duelist Promotion Pack, both contain a single card. This card is one of five Normal Parallel Rare cards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Structure Decks to be released at the event are Forest of the Traptrix – The Legend of Duelist Quarter Century Edition and Masters of the Spiritual Arts – The Legend of Duelist Quarter Century Edition. Both decks are event-limited versions of previously released Structure Decks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forest of the Traptrix – The Legend of Duelist Quarter Century Edition contains a preconstructed deck of 43 cards accompanied by five Secret Rare cards in a Banquet Invitation Pack. Masters of the Spiritual Arts – The Legend of Duelist Quarter Century Edition, meanwhile, has a preconstructed 40-card deck that comes with a Spirit Art Awakening Pack containing five Secret Rare cards as well as one of five Ultra Rare Tokens.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, two promotional cards will be distributed. The Quarter Century Secret Rare Tokyo Dome Green Version of the Dark Magician card will be distributed to event attendees on 3 February 2024. The next day, attendees stand to receive the Blue-Eyes White Dragon card of the same rarity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buying Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG The Legend of Duelist: Quarter Century Event-Exclusives<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While not all of the event-exclusive decks, booster packs, and promotional cards from The Legend of Duelist: Quarter Century event have yet hit the open market, some have already started to be sold. As of 7 February 2024, a copy of the promotional Dark Magician card retails for around US$175. The promotional Blue-Eyes White Dragon card, meanwhile, may fetch as much as US$303.<\/p>\n\n\n
