While it’s not as revered as the likes of Nike’s “Chicago” or New Balance’s “Grey” colorways, the “Beef & Broccoli” is definitely up there in terms of general popularity. First taking the limelight on Timberland’s Work Boot, the famed brown-and-green dressing has since become a staple for footwear brands worldwide, with the aforementioned New Balance<\/a> leading the charge in recent times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Swoosh themselves have also been utilizing the popular color scheme, as evidently seen on an Air Force 1<\/a>. Now, Nike is set to revisit the “Beef & Broccoli” makeup with their legendary Air Max 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singing a rather similar tune to its predecessor, the new Nike Air Max 1 “Beef & Broccoli” revels in its hairy suede overlays over the traditional mesh base layer. Brown sees its application on said suede overlays and mudguards, while the dark green hue adorns the upper’s base, profile Swooshes, tongue, and inner lining. Deep black then runs through the entirety of the sole, including the visible Air unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take an official look at the upcoming Nike Air Max 1 “Beef & Broccoli” via the top slider above. While a release date has not been confirmed, expect to see it during the Spring 2024 season at a RRP of US$150.<\/p>\n\n\n
