Singapore’s bringing the heat of the tropics to the rest of the world by way of the “Urban Islander II” project, the latest collaboration between Limited Edt and SBTG, the city’s premiere footwear boutique and one of its most esteemed artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the success of their 2020 effort, which reimagined the New Balance 327 and 900 with a blend of urban and tropical aesthetics, SBTG and LIMITED EDT return with the MT580 as their canvas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shoe boasts a black mesh upper, contrasted by luxurious suede panels at the mudguard and quarter. 3M reflective leather accents on the heel tab and forefoot add a distinctive touch of luxury, creating a captivating fusion of textures. The insole features a playful pineapple pattern, a subtle nod to the thematic continuity from the first “Urban Islander” release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep a lookout for the release of the Limited Edt x SBTG x New Balance 580 \u201cUrban Islander II\u201d on 15 December (SST). This limited-edition pair, alongside a range of apparel, will be available exclusively at Limited Edt’s brick-and-click stores, and sbtgsurplus.com.
