As we enter the final pages of the 2023 calendar, sportswear brands are already busy preparing for the upcoming year. Nike, as one of the key figures in the market, has previewed a number of big releases planned for 2024 through their Nike SNKRS Showcase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While we’ve already covered a few of them such as the Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Royal”<\/a> thanks to early leaks, the Swoosh brand also plans to introduce several never-before-seen models and colorways into their 2024 arsenal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the many releases planned, some other standouts include the Air Force 1 “City Pack” and the Valentine’s Day SB Dunk Lows. Nike will also continue their ongoing trend of reviving archival silhouettes, with a whole flurry of old shoes set to once again grace the Swoosh’s shelves. The sneakers are a shoutout to each city’s individuality, with Las Vegas representing the city’s big lights; Seoul is inspired by the nighttime reflections on the ground; while Shanghai is a tribute to the local sneakerheads’ love for the Wheat-colored AF1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Utilizing the “Red Thread of Fate” motif, this SB Dunk Low will come in two colorways: namely light sail and burgundy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, Nike has finally confirmed these whispers, with the Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Royal” poised to drop during next year’s Air Max Day celebrations. These will release as a women’s exclusive with an extended size run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once upon a time, these were all the rage especially in New York, turning into a must-have staple among Air Max enthusiasts. The Air Max Sunder celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and the Swoosh has run it back to its OG colors for a 2024 release\u2014along with a new Air Max SNDR naming convention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These might not be suited to everyone’s taste, but the rumored Supreme collaboration<\/a> might change that next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While we’ve previously seen the “Ultramarine” colorway, it’s now confirmed that the black “Free 180” will be part of Nike’s 2024 plans as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And when we think about the the Swoosh’s Gorpcore efforts, there’s no better option than its famed ACG line. Among the favorites such as the Exploraid, Izy, and Rufus mule, Nike ACG is also introducing a new silhouette in 2024: the Mountain Fly Low 2 GTX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After making its triumphant return<\/a> in 2023, the Swoosh brand is readying another colorful take on the model. This time, it is set for a return with “Rainbow” weaves come Fall 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We mentioned in the introduction that Nike’s 2024 lineups comprised of a whole flurry of returning old silhouettes<\/em>, and there’s no better way to conclude than with the oldest of them all: the Nike LD-1000. Introduced nearly 50 years ago in 1976, it was a running shoe that was infamous for its flared heel. In fact, it was recalled later on as the new feature could cause pronation or knee problems. While the LD-1000 has received several remakes such as with fragment in 2014, this will be a direct throwback to its OG 1976 blue-and-yellow design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
