[Update 20 Nov 2024] Since being teased earlier this year, the Lil Yachty x Nike US Force 1 “White\/Midnight Navy” finally has a release date. The pair is scheduled for release on lilyachtyshop.com<\/a> on 20 November with a wider release, likely on SNKRS, on 2 December. [Update 12 Nov 2024] A limited-edition Friends and Family version of the Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Concrete Boys” has been unveiled. Only 100 pairs are in existence, and this exclusive release boasts custom packaging, individually numbered insoles, and a unique logo on the left heel. [Update 29 Oct 2024] It looks like the Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1, initially planned as a Friends & Family release, is now slated for a wider general release. The sneakers will retail at US$150, but specific release details are still forthcoming. Stay tuned to SNKRDUNK Magazine for the latest updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Update 17 Apr 2024] During his Coachella set the last weekend, Lil Yachty debuted a new colorway of his Nike Air Force 1 Low PE. This time, the pair’s patent leather make is embellished with the reggae colors of red, gold, and green. There are no release details that’ve been announced so they’ll likely be a 1 of 1 for Lil Boat himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside the aforementioned colorway, at least three more have been leaked. The pairs, featuring the “Concrete Boys” imprint on the heels, are presented in white with yellow accents, black with red, as well as a “Triple Black” makeup. Check them out in the gallery above!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Update 1 Feb 2024] First teased in November, Lil Yachty has since shared more looks of his Nike Air Force 1 Low \u201cConcrete Boys\u201d when he appeared on SNKRS live recently. As of now, it’s an F&F exclusively for his coterie. Nevertheless, stay tuned!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He did say, “As of right now, this’s only a Concrete exclusive.” The first part, “As of right now”, being the operative phrase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Update 16 Nov 2023] First looks of the Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 have now emerged. Also known as the “Concrete Boys”, the pair features a white leather upper and Air midsole unit, complemented by Navy accents on the sockliner, rubber outsole, “It’s Us” tongue tags and Concrete Boys logo on the sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this time, the pair is said to be a Friends and Family exclusive. But rest assured should it see a general release, we will keep you informed so stay tuned here for further updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lil Yachty recently made an appearance on CoolKicks, where he hinted at a collaboration with Nike. About nine minutes into the interview, he casually held up a Nike Air Force 1 Lows and subtly mused, “I just did a Force.” This Freudian slip left fans speculating that a Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 is actually in the works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When directly probed about it, AKA Lil Boat was evasive and non-committal in his reply, “I didn’t say that, I didn’t say that!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There isn’t a Rosetta stone regarding the pair but expect the collaborative Air Forces to be reflective of the rapper’s off-beat personality and taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was recently spotted in the upcoming Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air Flea 2 \u201cFaded Spruce\u201d<\/a> and the pair’s unconventional design was perfectly in-brand. Thus, the upcoming Yachty and Swoosh collaboration might produce a shoe equally enigmatic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
