Case in point: her most recent <a href=\"https:\/\/snkrdunk.com\/en\/magazine\/2023\/07\/20\/cecilie-bahnsen-asics-gt-2160-collab-fall-winter-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ASICS GT-2160<\/a>, reinventing the traditional Mary Jane shoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At her Spring\/Summer 2024 showcase at Paris Fashion Week, Bahnsen previewed the latest Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS model, a subtle twist on the Japanese sportswear brand&#8217;s GEL-QUANTUM; dressed in all-black while dotted with small black flowers, each with a beaded center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the designer didn&#8217;t deviate too much from the GEL-QUANTUM&#8217;s blueprint, she added a few original embellishments to create a shoe that is both functional, feminine, and fashion-forward. Unfortunately for ardent fans, the pair will only be launched in 2024 in a limited run of 50 pairs, all handmade in her studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Confirmed by the designer herself on the label&#8217;s Instagram, keep a lookout for the rare pairs early next year on ceciliebahnsen.com.
