Tuskegee University, located east of Montgomery, Alabama, has a storied history dating back to 1881. As the institution’s 14 October homecoming draws imminent, Nike pays tribute to the Historically Black University (HBCU) founded by Booker T. Washington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The commemorative, striking Nike Terminator High boasts a stylish color palette. Instead of the traditional Nike branding on the tongue labels, it proudly features bold ‘TU’ lettering and a prominent Golden Tiger logo, reminiscent of Tuskegee’s rich heritage. Additionally, the homage is made more apparent with the “Tuskegee Institute” embroidered along the spine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further nods to Tuskegee University are evident in the intricate details. “Ball” and “Parlay” adorn the laces, while “1881” is expertly debossed onto the lateral forefoot. Inside, the insoles showcase a photograph of Abbott Stadium, a significant landmark for the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s no release date yet but pair is projected to arrive sometime in October 2023 with an RRP of US$135. Stay tuned for an update!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
