ComplexCon 2023 will be the culture-defining convention’s seventh iteration, happening once again at Long Beach Convention Center on the weekend of 18 and 19 November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event brings together the world’s most influential brands and artists for an immersive and exhilirating weekend of style, sneakers, art, food, music, and more. Made even more exciting with Cactus Plant Flea Market as this year’s Artistic Director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who is CACTUS PLANT FLEA MARKET?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The globally renowned label was established in 2015 by Cynthia Lu. And in the eight years since, have become a creative tour de force influencing culture, art, fashion, and lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the status quo, they’ve had limited releases and extensive collaborations with street culture’s most biggest companies and names like Nike, McDonald’s, COMME des GARCONS, Supreme, Marc Jacobs, KAWS, Disney, The Rolling Stones, Kids See Ghosts, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What will CPFM as ComplexCon’s Artistic Director do?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In their role, they will create the event’s brand identity, oversee its overall aesthetic experience, including designing exclusive merchandise only available at the festival, and curate the musical acts performing over the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’ll also curate a roster of emerging brands to receive a coveted space on the exhibition floor. There will be many shoes to fill throughout the weekend but none bigger than CPFM’s since they will be taking over the role from the legendary Takashi Murakami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What else is there to expect at ComplexCon 2023?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The event will once again host the ComplexCon(conversations) speaker series, which features eminent voices from various mediums who define what’s now and next in street culture. Not forgetting the eagerly awaited Sneaker Of The Year<\/em> panel, hosted by Joe La Puma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The First We Feast Lagoon will return in its full glory as well, with the spiciest, tastiest, “can’t-get-them-anywhere-else” dishes, hosts, and events from First We Feast<\/em> and Hot Ones<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
