As part of Nike’s ongoing Air Force 1 push to celebrate the model’s 40th anniversary, Nike will be releasing a rather experimental take on the Air Force 1 Low silhouette in the form of the AF1 Low “Pink Bling”.<\/p>\n

Some aspects of the Air Force 1 Low “Pink Bling” have remained the same, such as the white leather eyestays, perforated toebox and rubber midsole. However, the remainder of the design consists of a patchwork of different textures and shades of white, almost like an all-white version of a “What The” colourway. The upper varies between white and off-white, with materials ranging from ballistic nylon, crinkled leather and jersey mesh.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, three details stand out from the neutral whites. First, a beige outsole that draws attention to the star-studded toe and heel. Second, a teal tail-end of the Nike swoosh on the inner side of each shoe. Finally, a glaring hot pink range of metal tags and accessories that includes a lace dubrae, oval tongue logo and chain link tag which hangs from anchors on either side of the shoe’s heel.<\/p>\n

Nike has not yet announced an official release date, but more information should surface soon as the brand focuses their attention on Air Force 1’s anniversary. Stay tuned for more updates!<\/p>\n
