Anybody in the know would agree: if Anderson .Paak hadn’t yet made it a few years ago, he’s definitely made it big now. From his award-winning Silk Sonic album release<\/a> with Bruno Mars in 2021, to sold-out shows in Las Vegas<\/a>, to performing vinyl DJ sets, to co-writing, directing and starring in an upcoming film, much seems to be in store for the newly-minted superstar. Adding to this impressive repertoire is an all-new Anderson. Paak and Vans collection, named the “Vanderson” Collection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “Vanderson” Collection is the third installation of an ongoing collaboration between Vans and .Paak<\/a>, the brand’s first Global Music Ambassador. The Collection includes three sneaker designs as well as apparel and accessories. Among the three sneakers, the black EPaak Sport stands out as the Collection’s signature shoe. It features many classic Vans “Off The Wall” features, such as the clear white stitching along design lines that contrasts with the black suede, and a rubber midsole that extends into the upper. However, several distinct features of this design stand out: shiny embroidered floral patterns that are emphasised by the matte black suede texture, as well as “APESHIT” branding including a lightning bolt-wielding ape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other two sneakers in the collection also have unique features of their own. The cream and orange Authentic plasters a bright paisley pattern over its upper and inner lining. Meanwhile, the olive green Old Skool 36 flaunts a unique upper made of corduroy and a circular portrait of .Paak wearing a paisley-patterned sash. All three sneakers also feature a Vans waffle outsole with the phrase “SICK VIBES” written in a vintage Silk Sonic-esque font across the left and right shoe. Rounding out the Collection is a selection of apparel including tees, trousers and jackets covered in paisley pattern and sandy tie-dye. The “Vanderson” Collection will release on 24 June 2022 on Vans’ online store and select Vans retailers. More details below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
