[Update 23 Aug 2023] Prior to its 25 August raffle draw, WTAPS has shared campaign images of their New Balance 990v6 collaboration. Take a look at the shots while we gear up for the pair’s arrival in the coming days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Update 21 Aug 2023] WTAPS has confirmed the release of their New Balance 990v6 collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those interested in copping a pair, a raffle draw will run via WTAPS’ website from 25 August 12pm to 26 August 12pm JST and winners will be notified from 31 August 11am JST. Retail price is set at 44,000 JPY (~US$305).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following a collaborative venture with skateboarding label Vans, it has been rumored that Tetsu Nishiyama’s WTAPS’ will be joining forces with lifestyle label New Balance for an upcoming footwear release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leaked images provided by @dane3fune<\/a> have revealed a first look of the collaborative 990v6 model. The pair comes dressed in a grey color scheme, similar to the duo’s past releases and also reminiscing of the silhouette’s OG colorway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like any other standard 990v6 offerings, the pair features a mesh and suede upper alongside FuelCell midsoles equipped for optimal cushioning and repulsion. Unique design elements includes a USA imprint on the rear sides, alongside WTAPS branding on the heel counters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neither brands have given any confirmation on the WTAPS x New Balance 990v6 at this time, but rest assured that when more details reaches us, we will keep you informed here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
