[Updated 13 Jun] New official information has been released! The Converse Aeon Active CX “Egret” will be dropping 14 Jun, 10:00PM GMT on Converse’s online store and select retailers. Following Converse’s hyped collaboration with A-COLD-WALL*<\/a> that produced an all-new Aeon Active CX silhouette in April, Converse will now be adding three new colourways to the futuristic silhouette! Not much information has been officially released yet, but some facts are known: the three colourways will be named “Egret”, “Storm Wind” and “Natural Ivory”. The highly futuristic silhouette features chunky soles with a trapezoidal indent at the arch, as well as protruding sections at at the heel that add an angular touch. A perforated heel tab extends horizontally from the heel with “CONVERSE” branding. Underfoot, wavy tread covers the extremities while bright orange foam is exposed at the middle of the outsole.<\/p>\n

The upper of the Aeon Active CX utilises a variety of textures and colour variations, connected by exposed stitching. The shoe has an easy-on, easy-off utility, minimising use of laces and adopting a stretchy, breathable lining. While all three colourways share the same orange foam underfoot, the remaining colours differ. “Egret” contains a variety of white and off-white colours, but other sources depict the colourway as primarily cream and off-white. “Natural Ivory” is an existing Converse colouway, mixing cream, off-white and a gum-like brown. Meanwhile, “Storm Wind” goes dark with deep blacks and neutral greys.<\/p>\n

“Egret” is expected to release on 14 June 2022, while “Natural Ivory” and “Storm Wind” are expected to release on 1 July 2022. More official information and images will surface as these release dates draw closer, so stay tuned. More details below.<\/p>\n
