Bet you Run D.M.C. and adidas weren’t fully cognizant of what would emerge from Pandora’s box when they opened it in the mid-eighties. Decades later, collaborations between artists and businesses are ubiquitous. One such beneficiary of this is Puerto Rican music maestro Bad Bunny. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Their partnership is relatively young having just begun in 2021. Since then however, they’ve done at least a dozen collaborative pairs, the latest being this “Boston Day” Response CL. The name alluding to last year’s declaration of Bad Bunny Day in Boston by Mayor Michelle Wu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The pair is a display of the artist’s signatures. A contemporary design modern materials: Premium suede and breathable mesh forms the upper, placing it on the confluence of fashion, function, and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Green hues make up the palette, drawing from the historic Green Monster at Fenway Park, the Boston Red Sox’s home. Finishing touches are applied by way of the cream-colored midsole, a solid black rubber outsole; along with Bad Bunny’s hallmark logo on the toe, back heel, and insoles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They’ll be released on 18 August for US$160, exclusively on Concepts’ Boston brick-and-mortar. Like most of us not a resident, there’s hope that the pair will eventually surface on the SNKRDUNK App. Keep a lookout!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
