[Update 11 Aug 2023] Official images of the Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Halo” have finally been unveiled. It turns out to be the same “Triple White” colorway that’s surfaced months prior before being given its official “Halo” name.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nevertheless, the arrival of the silhouette on 23 August, Kobe Bryant’s birthday, will mark the reintroduction of the Swoosh’s Mamba line. Find the pair on Nike’s brick-and-click and select retailers come D-Day!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ahead of the reintroduction of the Black Mamba collection come Mamba Day, Nike announced that it would be unveiling a new Kobe silhouette on 10 August via their SNKRS’ \u201cLive from the Archive” segment. Furthermore, the shoe in question apparently, according to Vanessa Bryant, is an all-white Kobe 8 Protro “Halo” with more sylizations of the model in the pipeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Swoosh teased the sneakers on Instagram with a short black-and-white video clip showing the pair obscured, the silhouette suspended above a basketball. Below the sneakers is a clock with the numbers turning till they reach “08:23:23”, Kobe Bryant’s birthday and presumably the pair’s launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
