Stylish\u00a0and environmental friendliness characterises Nike’s Terrascape line, whose representative sneakers are made from at least 20% recycled materials by weight. Given the sustainability brand attached to the Terrascape line, previous iterations have visual elements that are reminiscent of naturally occurring shapes and structures.<\/p>\n

The newest addition,\u00a0Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus Mossy Green, is a quintessential Terrascape look and brings to mind a well-constructed moss terrarium. Shades of green are found on the meshed upper and is enclosed within a translucent TPU cage, similar to a terrarium glass case. The shoes’ Crater Foam sole, known to soften impact and provide support, comes in a similar green, accentuating its mossy look. Nike Grind rubber, which is made of manufacturing scrap and recycled shoes, leaves a pebbled appearance on the outsole, mimicking that of soil. This soil-like resemblance is reiterated through the tongue and laces, which are in a deep brown hue.<\/p>\n

Beyond the Nike Grind, the upper is also made of recycled polyesters, driving up the environmental-friendliness of this Air Max Plus. The Nike swoosh here is more understated than its usual appearances despite the bright green, blending into the overall organic and natural look of the shoe.<\/p>\n

Retailing for USD$185, the Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus Mossy Green is expected to be released during the summer season (18 June 2022) on the Nike official site.<\/p>\n
