The Nike KD 3 is purported to make a comeback in the KD-line hallmark “Aunt Pearl” colorway first unveiled with the KD 4. The signature pink hue honors Kevin Durant’s loving aunt, who passed on from lung cancer in 2000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although there are no official images, the silhouette is said to sport a “Medium Soft Pink\/White-Lotus Pink” color scheme, as shown in the leaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The semi-translucent outsoles and light white profile Swooshes provide an additional layer of neutrality to the cotton candy-coated upper. Imprinted on the tongue’s underside is “Aunt Pearl” in elegant cursive. Another tribute is imbedded on the heel counter emblem. Therein, alongside “Kay Yow”, alluding to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund (beneficiaries of the proceeds) frames Kevin Durant’s “kd” logo at the center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’re projected for release sometime in the holiday season on Nike’s brick-and-click stores for US$130. Should anything change between now and then, expect an update here at this very page!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
