Kanye West’s name has been commonplace in the media as of late \u2014 from the announcement of Yeezy Boost restocks<\/a> to a McDonald’s packaging redesign in the works. The multifaceted creator yet again indulges streetwear aficionados with the highly anticipated drop of the YEEZY GAP ENGINEERED BY BALENCIAGA Collection 2.<\/p>\n

A collaborative capsule by YEEZY, GAP and creative director Demna Gvasalia’s Balenciaga, the first collection rocked fashion waters back in February with urban minimalist pieces. Predominantly black apparel, distressed denim and Denma’s emblematic oversized anti-fashion silhouettes characterised the release, leaving streetwear fans wanting more. Their prayers have been heard and answered by Yeezus with a Collection 2 that launches 25 May 2022, 9a.m. ET at Yeezy Gap’s official site<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In an Instagram post<\/a>, YEEZY MAFIA reveals the pieces that are included within this drop \u2014 oversized hoodies and tees sporting the iconic GAP logo, knee-high too-big boots, caps, and distressed denim jacket with matching jeans. Highly reminiscent of the first collection, this second edition has yet again delivered a sense of utilitarianism that is the encoded within the three brand’s DNA: Denma’s vision to democratise high fashion, Kanye’s functional modern style and Gap’s accessibility to the masses.<\/p>\n

Within this release are pieces teased previously by Ye, such as the GAP cap he wore in Instagram picture with current lover Chaney Jones and an oversized hoodie:<\/p>\n
