Princess Mononoke is one of Studio Ghibli’s opuses. A classic beloved since it broke box office records in Japan in 1997. Its imagery, breathtaking animation style, and environmental themes, recognizable even with the demographic born after its zenith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like many brands have done before with the Japanese animation studio, Levi’s pay tribute by pairing their own signature style with the the film’s hallmark aesthetic. Each piece in the collection exudes the poetic elements of the film, with the craftsmanship of the quintessential Americana brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ashitaka 501 ’93 Jeans, the San & Moro 501 Shorts, and the San & Wolf Trucker Jacket all display an ethereal element onto the denim fabric, effortlessly portaying the forest and sun backdrop from the movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dark indigo pieces such as the Kodama Denim and the Nightwalker Denim Kimono Jacket echo the mood of the characters’ environment, while the graphic tees and hoodies lend focus to the characters themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An array of accessories also accompany the apparel like the San & Ashitaka tote, Ancient Forest bucket hat, and a bandana with San’s ethereal red battle mask.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entire collection will be released on 10 August on the Levi’s website but Red Tab Members can get access two days before the global launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
