Barbie has been at the talk of the town in the last few weeks, considering the imminent release of the movie. It’s a marketer’s goldmine with many cashing in from the attention by releasing thematic versions of their products. Nike’s original gambit was the Nike Air Max Scorpion<\/a>, but their ace in the hole may be this stellar pink “Barbie” Nike Dunk Low, easily the most popular silhouette at present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pink stars adorn the suede midfoot panel, while a pink tonal rendering highlight the overlays. For contrast, the profile Swooshes are dressed in brown standing out against the color uniformity of the shoe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet none quite draws the spotlight more than the large bedazzled “N” lace charm that regal the laces. As above, so below. The star motif that lands on the upper proliferate on the translucent outsole underfoot too, bringing the entire theme together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The movie’s hitting theatres but the Swoosh hasn’t disclosed when the shoes are hitting shelves. Believing they’d want to capitalize on the hype, there’s reason to be optimistic that the pair will arrive shortly. Stay tuned!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
