[Update 6 Sep 2023] Following its pre-order phase, the and wander x Salomon XA Pro 3D GORE-TEX will be available for the general public starting 6 September via and wander.<\/strong><\/p>\n

[Update 22 Aug 2023] Official images of the and wander x Salomon XA Pro 3D GORE-TEX have now arrived. Pre-order the pair via and wander’s website starting 11 August and expect orders to be shipped end September. Retail price is set at 33,000 JPY (~US$227) per pair.<\/p>\n

and wander and Salomon are two faces of the growing gorpcore movement. It’s not the first time the outdoor specialists pitched the same tent together, having collaborated on the XT-SLATE Advanced<\/a> and Jungle Ultra Low<\/a> previously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before the sun sets on the year, they return for and wander’s Autumn\/Winer 2023 collection that includes the titular and wander x Salomon XA Pro 3D GORE-TEX. Not is much known about the pair nor the rest of the collection since the images are leaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From what can be seen, the footwear takes on a predominantly brown hue, dressing the GORE-TEX foundation and tonal renderings on the overlays. Black appears heavily on the sole unit along with a few placements on the laces and the tongue strip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’re finished off with branding elements from Salomon on the yellow tongue tag; and wander’s on the tongue strip; and with GORE-TEX on the edge of the toe box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Re the collection, they subsume an array of high-performance outdoor gear such as down jackets, pants, and bags in various designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
