There’s only around a week left till the official release of the upcoming Pok\u00e9mon Trading Card Game (TCG) Scarlet & Violet expansion pack “Ruler of the Black Flame” [SV3]<\/a>, set to drop on 28 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the anticipation for this set might be a little overshadowed from the gargantuan Pok\u00e9mon Card 151<\/em><\/a> release a month ago, it is by no means a slouch. With the introduction of new Type-Shifted Tera Type ex cards in this set, it’s certainly an exciting turn of the chapter for players and collectors alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That being said, expect the pull rates for Ruler of the Black Flame<\/em> to be equally as harsh as some of its recent predecessors like the Pok\u00e9mon 151 pull rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this story, we’ll look through some of the latest leaks from Ruler of the Black Flame<\/em> to find out what are some of the rarest and most expensive Pok\u00e9mon cards you can expect to find in the set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rare Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong> Cards in Ruler of the Black Flame (as revealed thus far)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the full setlist has not been revealed entirely, the Pok\u00e9mon Company has been steadily posting teasers leading up to release day. So far, we’ve been able to preview two female trainer SAR cards (otherwise known as Waifus in the community)<\/em>, namely Poppy SAR 138\/108 and Geeta SAR 137\/108.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These two SAR cards will undoubtedly be the chase cards for Waifu <\/em>collectors out there. In particular, Poppy might be of interest as she’s one of the new faces from the latest Pok\u00e9mon game Scarlet & Violet<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revavroom SAR 135\/108 and Pidgeotto SAR 136\/108 also join in on the party, each revealed to have their own special illustration rare versions in Ruler of the Black Flame<\/em>. While only these two have been shown thus far, we do expect 2 to 3 more SARs to come in Ruler of the Black Flame<\/em> as per previous sets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, some AR cards have also been previewed. These include the likes of Palafin 111\/108, Cleffa 113\/108, Scizor 116\/108, and Pidgey 118\/108. While all of them look amazing in their own right, the Palafin and Cleffa really stands out as some of the best artwork we’ve seen on a Pok\u00e9mon card. Expect these to be among the most expensive Pok\u00e9mon cards once the dust settles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pok\u00e9mon TCG English and French Leaks (Obsidian Flames)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the English equivalent to Ruler of the Black Flame<\/em> has been announced to be Obsidian Flames [OBF]. Similar to its Japanese counterpart, Obsidian Flames<\/em> will also contain Type-Shifted Tera Pok\u00e9mon ex cards. Through an early leak, we’re able to preview a few more rare cards from the collection that should be present in Ruler of the Black Flame<\/em> as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As expected, Charizard will receive a special illustration rare equivalent in the English set. Also present in the English set is another female trainer card, Ryme. While it’s likely that this Charizard will make its way to Ruler of the Black Flame<\/em> as a SAR, there are doubts that Ryme will be featured, given that Geeta and Poppy are already revealed to be part of the Japanese set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, leaks from the French Pok\u00e9mon TCG version, courtesy of Twitter user @brayshgaming<\/a>, has showcased a gold Charizard ex UR. This should also find its way to Ruler of the Black Flame, and will definitely be one of the most expensive Pok\u00e9mon cards in the set alongside the abovementioned SAR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An English Charmander promo was also spotted among the many leaks. This promo card will customarily come in every Obsidian Flames<\/em> Elite Trainer Box. This looks to be the equivalent of an AR, but it’s currently unclear if this will find its way into the Ruler of the Black Flame<\/em> set list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s some of the rarest Pok\u00e9mon cards you can expect to find in Ruler of the Black Flame [SV3]<\/em>.
