[Update 3 Jul 2023] More images of the atmos x New Balance 2002R “Cybernetics Blue” have now arrived alongside a release date of 14 July. A raffle draw via atmos is set to take place from 7 July 9am to 14 July 8:59am. The pair will officially retail at 22,000 JPY (~US$152).<\/strong><\/p>\n

atmos and New Balance are linking up once more, reprising on the New Balance 2002R model. Last year’s atmos x New Balance 2002R “Oasis”<\/a> gave us lots of earthy neutral tones inspired by nature; Now, the partners are teasing a “Cybernetics Blue” colorway which exudes more foreign intergalactic cyberpunk vibes.<\/p>\n

This upcoming pair of atmos x New Balance 2002R “Cybernetics Blue” retains most of what the 2002R is known for. Atop a generic-looking white and black sole unit, the shoe’s mesh upper has been dyed a soft-hued greyish “Cybernetics” blue, while smooth grey overlays wrap around the shoe.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the outline on the “N” logo seemed to have been reduced, giving the “N” a slimmer silhoutte. Additionally, you can expect the same NERGY and ABZORB cushioning from New Balance on the sole.<\/p>\n

The atmos x New Balance 2002R “Cybernetics Blue” is set to drop anytime now with a 19,800 JPY (~US$137) price tag, with Hirofumi Kojima, atmos’ Creative Director, teasing the shoe on his personal Instagram. Follow along for more latest updates.<\/p>\n
