Less than two days ago, Pharrell presented his first Louis Vuitton runway show as the luxury brand’s new menswear Creative Director, where he showcased a colorful collection adorned with pixels and the LV Damier.<\/p>\n
Now, shortly after his star-studded debut, we got more detailed looks of the footwear from Louis Vuitton’s head of men’s footwear design Mathias Patillon. In a series of photos posted on his Instagram, Patillon showed off three silhouettes, namely: a furry boot, a slipper and a chunky skate-inspired sneaker.<\/p>\n
The furry boot, or LV Footprint, is arguably the most eye-catching. The slip-on style boot is emblazoned with the LV monogram and comes in three different shades. Its most interesting detail is the shape of a footprint on the outsole, which also features the brand’s famed monogram; On the other hand, the slippers appear in six different shades of the LV Damier and each has a cursive “LV” emblem embroidered on the toe box.<\/p>\n
On top of the two new styles, the third pair of footwear is actually a new rendition of the LV Trainer sneaker, now looking chunkier and featuring all-over “croc leather”.
