Commemorating the 20th anniversary of PORTER by Yoshida & Co.’s famed “SMOKY” series, the label has teamed up with Converse to create an All Star Hi dedicated to the aforementioned signature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PORTER’s “SMOKY” is a series of bags that contain the original “CORDURA Duck” fabric. It uses Zimbabwe cotton uneven yarn for the wrap threads, while CORDURA nylon is used for the weft yarn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This upcoming sneaker uses the same “CORDURA Duck” fabric found on PORTER’s bags for the upper, creating one of the most intricate sneakers in recent times. PORTER branding is visible on the heel tab as well as the graphic insole. A special shoe bag will also accompany the release, one that comes with an allover print of PORTER’s text logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take an official look at the upcoming PORTER x Converse All Star Hi “SMOKY” via the top slider above. It’s expected to drop on 23 June on PORTER’s official website and select PORTER stores in Japan. Head to the link in the side bar and save the date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
