[Update 8 Sep 2023] Turns out, AAPE and Vans have been secretly working on more than just a pair of camo-clad Authentic Bolt. The upcoming AAPE x Vans team-up will offer up to four collaborative sneakers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On top of the previously-seen Woodland camo Vans Authentic Bolt, there will be another grey camo version. AAPE and Vans are also adding two new Sk8-Hi Bolt silhouette into the mix, in the aforementioned green and grey camo prints. All four pairs feature canvas uppers with suede overlays.

The Authentic Bolt models are priced at JPY12,100 (~US$82), while the Sk8-His cost JPY14,520 (~US$98). This AAPE x Vans collab has dropped via AAPE Stores, the AAPE.JP<\/a> webstore and select Vans stores and retailers on 8 September.

\nFor Spring\/Summer 2023, AAPE and Vans are readying a pair of collaborative Vans Authentic “Bolt”. Vans has partnered with BAPE, AAPE’s older sibling, before on multiple projects but this is the first time we are getting an AAPE x Vans collab.<\/p>\n

To commemorate this occasion, the duo has set their sights on the latest silhouette in Vans’ catalogue, the Vans Authentic Bolt. However, while the shoe with a lightning bolt sticking out at the midsole is a refreshing new take on the Vans classic model, AAPE and Vans are choosing to stick to a fail-proof formula\u2014by deploying the BAPE camo print over the upper.<\/p>\n

The Woodland camo returns on the canvas upper, while brown suede wraps the toebox. AAPE and Vans’ logos are rendered in hot pink, and the text “Apes and planet earth” is printed on the midsole around the heel.<\/p>\n
