What the Nike Dunk Low “Panda” is today, that was what the Nike Roshe Run was more than a decade ago. It was once\u00a0the<\/em> shoe, specifically between 2012 to 2014. As fast as its rise, it was completely removed from the shelves in two years, obliterated by the emergence of rival adidas’ Ye-approved UltraBOOST.<\/p>\n

The Roshe (row-SHEE) debuted as a lifestyle runner appealing to the sneakerheads looking for a comfortable, versatile beater, and the casual joe looking for a svelte and simple shoe. In the confluence between the two extreme palates, that’s where the Roshe Run sat.<\/p>\n

Sources from Nike has purported a brick-and-mortar return, starting from their “Unite” (outlet) stores, a pragmatic choice for the cost-effective model. They’re projected to sell today for as much as they did then, at US$75. There’re no specifics on what colorways will be availed but if they do hit the mark the same way then, more should be introduced.<\/p>\n

Is it still too early for nostalgia to be a factor in its appeal? Guess we’ll find out soon enough.<\/p>\n
