\"LINE\"<\/p>\n\n\n

Vans are known to be driven on the wild side. Through the wheels of their most recognizable silhouettes, they make a quick drive to Sesame Street, one of the most iconic children’s television programs in pop culture history. More than 50 years since the inception of the show, Sesame Street continues to find a place in contemporary zeitgeist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three models are subsumed in this Sesame Street x Vans pack. The first being the Authentic, followed by two colorways of the Old Skool, and then the Sk8-Hi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Authentic arrives in a tonal yellow outfitting on the upper with the standard white vulcanized sole unit. The quarters and the heel depict the ensemble of the show’s iconic characters hand in hand. It presides over a series of the Sesame Street logo imprinted on the midsoles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first Old Skool, with a black base layer, features a polychromatic makeup on its profiles. Therein are the aforementioned cast from Elmo to Ernie, et al. The second sees a predominantly beige upper, embellished with floral prints, along with an embroidery of Elmo hanging by the brand’s leather Wave on the lateral, while the words “WORLD GO AROUND” adorn the medial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final Sk8-Hi arrives in a vibrant multi-color dressing of its upper. Its most noteworthy feature being the character graphics on its profiles, sharing the space with a checkered taxi yellow lining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’ll be available from 9 June on Japanese retailer BILLY’S brick-and-click stores. Prices range between 9,900 JPY (~US$70) to 11,000 JPY ($US80).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
