The Amin\u00e9 x New Balance 610 \u201cThe Mooz\u201d will finally make its debut on 22 August, as revealed by the man himself on his Instagram. [Update 28 Jul 2023] More photos of the Amin\u00e9 x New Balance 610 \u201cThe Mooz\u201d have just emerged, courtesy of @dane3fune<\/a>. Therein are closeups of the shoes, offering a better look at all of its minutiae. Moreover, the new pictures showcase for the first time a look at the specially designed shoebox resembling a banana crate, thematically consistent with the pair’s motifs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s still no release date yet but whatever images that’ve emerged thus far, should be enough for anyone to make a decision on them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Update 7 Jun 2023] There’s now a full reveal of the Amin\u00e9 x New Balance 610, officially dubbed \u201cThe Mooz\u201d. It sports a yellow and brown palette reminiscent of an aging banana; dressing its mesh, glossy leather, and the iridescent finishes on the toe box, quarter panel, and heel molds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A unique TPU bubble is placed on the lateral ankle. Like a snow globe, it features a floating banana inside while the casing is overlaid with “610”. Moreover, Amin\u00e9 face graphic regal the shoes on the left pair’s heel counter along with co-branded banners on the tongue. The pair opts for a toggle lacing system along with rear pull tabs that can be unclasped to hook the pairs together for portability (as demonstrated by the rapper himself in a video).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shoe is said to be housed in a specially designed shoebox, in addition to other accessories. Expect them to hit stores within the coming months. Stay tuned for more details!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Update 6 Jun 2023] The Amin\u00e9 x New Balance signature was teased last week by the rapper himself on Instagram. Although nothing in the video points to what the model is exactly, a new image alludes to it. If it bears any veracity, then the model would the 610. Stay tuned for more of such details to emerge. Hopefully a release date isn’t too far behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2022, Amin\u00e9 has served as an ambassador for the Bostonian shoemaker, and officially announced on Instagram that he’ll be getting his own signature sneaker. The teaser video sees him and two companions mulling over a local billboard. Therein shows wooden banana baskets adjacent to the headline \u201cA Kid From Portland Has His Own Sneaker\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether he’ll be reimagining one from New Balance’s beloved MADE in USA line, or he’ll be allowed to create an original one, it’s reasonable to assume his unique artistry will materialize onto footwear as well as it has with music. He’s been seen frequently with models like the 990v3, 2002R, and 992, in addition to appearing in many of NB’s promotional campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The teaser video is the only Rosetta stone but that’s enough to whet appetites for this upcoming release. Stay tuned for more details! More should emerge within the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
