[Update 14 Jul 2023] The world is Travis Scott’s oyster, or rather, his utopia. With Utopia<\/a><\/em> the album dropping on 28 July, launching at the Pyramids of Giza no less, he’s quickly pulling out another gambit. His Nike Air Jordan 1 Low Golf<\/a> has been confirmed for a 13 October release date, and he’s not even taking a minute before dropping his next signature sneaker, before the year is even over.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He wore the pair-in-question to the premiere of The Idol<\/em> at Cannes Film Festival back in May, leaving the world abuzz. A silhouette hitherto unseen. New details have emerged that it’s a brand new model that succeeds all his previous collaborations. Now dubbed “Cut the Check”, the model is still under the Jordan Brand name but is an original design.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It seems to take some design cues however from the Nike Air Jordan 5 and his hallmark Reverse Swoosh, a mainstay.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Travis Scott x Jordan Cut the Check is expected to drop before 2023 takes a bow, in full family sizing. In addition, more colorways will follow in the early months of 2024. Stay tuned for more details!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides his highly anticipated Utopia album, it seems like Travis Scott has been actively working on his Nike and Jordan collaborations. Following a Mac Attack<\/a> and Air Jordan 3 “Tan Brown”<\/a>, the American rapper has been spotted in a new pair of Reverse Swoosh kicks at the 76th Annual Cannes Film Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Making his appearance at “The Idol” red carpet show, Scott was seen in a suit-like outfit and beneath his wide slack pants, we were able to catch a glimpse of the aforementioned pair. While little details are known at the moment, images suggest a low-top Jordan silhouette dressed in his signature Mocha color scheme and accentuated with white reverse Swooshes and Jumpman profiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
