[Update 20 Jun 2023] Aside from the new leaked images of the Nike Air Foamposite One “Eggplant”, a ballpark release date have just been disclosed for January 2024. It’s also been purported that this version won’t feature the iridescent finish as seen on the original pair. Nonetheless, expect an update here when a firm drop date’s announced.<\/p>\n

\"LINE\"<\/p>\n\n\n

The world is in the midst of a Nike Air Foamposite redux. From the revival of Penny Hardaway’s signature PE to the myriad releases of color blockings culled from the past. Accompanying the hallmark “Galaxy” colorway’s return in the spring next year, so will the “Eggplant” scheme from 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The titular pair will reemergge faithful to its original blueprint. The tongue, lining, and quarter overlay will all be outfitted with nubuck and mesh tooling. In line with its usual dark aesthetic, “Varsity Purple” hues will dress the pull tabs, tongue highlights, and embroidered Swooshes. The upper’s violet shell will arrive in its traditional iridescent finish with the outsole featuring a crystal rubber make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’re expected to arrive with an RRP of US$240. Find them on Nike SNKRS when they come back in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
