Design cues are taken from the Air Jordan 6, Air Jordan 7, and Air Jordan 8; visibly represented all over the upper. A seamless fusion of all three iconic designs can be seen in the tongue, which clearly references the AJ7, the sole unit, which draws inspiration from the AJ6, and the multi-colored heel overlay and fixture, which references the AJ8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The silhouette may be a celebration of his achievements as a pro, the colorway pays homage to MJ’s time at Chapel Hill. The “UNC” variant is a nod to the Tar Heels’ colors that are frequently seen in almost all Jordan Brand models prior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s no release date just yet but with the emergence of these official images, believe the pair to arrive on Nike and the Jumpman’s brick-and-click stores imminently. They’re currently expected with an RRP of US$165.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
