[Update 6 Nov 2023] New images of the Nike KD 4 \u201cGalaxy\u201d have surfaced, offering closeups hitherto unseen. Additionally, the rumor mill purports that the pair will be released on 15 February 2024 with an RRP of US$130. Stay tuned for more details and images to arrive in the coming weeks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2011, NBA superstar Kevin Durant and Nike launched the Nike KD 4 “Galaxy”. The basketball shoe’s popularity quite literally went out of this world, becoming one of the most iconic Nike KD designs ever made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to @nicekicks<\/a>, the Nike KD 4 “Galaxy” will make its glorious return from outer space come Spring 2024. Interestingly, the Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy”<\/a> was revealed to be returning next year as well, which makes sense given the KD 4 and Air Foamposite Ones were the two silhouettes that highlighted Nike’s intergalactic 2012 All-Star collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As with the Foamposite, this upcoming Nike KD 4 is expected to bring over most, if not all, of its design elements from its 2012 predecessor. Inspired by an astronaut’s flight suit, the Nike KD 4 “Galaxy” features a metallic silver upper and a glow-in-the-dark outsole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
