First making its appearance during Michael Jordan’s short stint at the Washington Wizards in 2002, the Air Jordan 17 was last seen in 2018 via a SoleFly x Jordan Brand collab.<\/p>\n
The 17th edition of MJ’s signature sneaker is well known for several firsts. The AJ17 was designed by Wilson Smith III, the first black designer at Nike. Its Jazz-inspired silhouette saw a Dynamic Fit inner sleeve wrapped around with plush leather uppers. It was also the first Air Jordan model to feature Nike’s Tuned Air technology. At that time, the Air Jordan 17 was also known to be the most expensive Jordan Brand sneaker.<\/p>\n
The news of its Spring 2024 return was first revealed by trusted sneaker account @zsneakerheadz. However, there’s no mention of the colorway(s) that is going to return.
