[Update 8 Aug 2023] With the imminent arrival of the tripartite Union LA x Bephies Beauty Supply x Nike “Summer of ’96” collaboration, campaign images have finally been released. The pack consists of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG and the Air Jordan 1 Elevate High SP, and the pairs are confirmed to drop on 24 August. [Update 4 Aug 2023] This’s confirmed by Union LA themselves on Instagram: The Union LA x Bephies Beauty Supply x Air Jordan 1 Elevate High SP is confirmed for release on 24 August. The pair will drop alongside the parties’ Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG<\/a> as part of the \u201cSummer of \u201996\u201d pack. Stay tuned for more release details within the coming weeks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Update 24 Jul 2023] The Union LA x Bephies Beauty Supply x Air Jordan 1 Elevate High SP was first teased months ago around the time their AJ1 Retro High OG<\/a> were too. But this is the first time leaks of the pair have surfaced along with a generated mockup by @jfgrails<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both pairs share a similar construction and motif with minor deviations in and around, such as the Jordan Wings on the collar, the profile Swooshes, and obviously the sole unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For now, they’re expected to drop on 6 August for US$200 on SNKRS and the collaborators’ website. Expect an update here should anything change!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, Union LA’s Air Jordan 1 High<\/a> was projected to have an August release date. Adding veracity to the news is the announcement of this accompanying pair, the tripartite collaboration between Chris Gibbs’ aforementioned label, his wife Beth’s Bephies Beauty Supply, and the Jumpman’s quintessence. It won’t be any of the parties maiden venture together having worked together in separate occasions. It will be the first time all three imprints are seen on one project however.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Union LA and BBS “elevate” the AJ1\u2014literally\u2014taking on one of the most popular women’s exclusive retrofitting of the classic. The upper remains familiar while it sits atop platform soles. The mockup featured may be achromatic but the rumor mill has the pair carry a palette of “Sail\/Kinetic Green-Muslin-Gum Yellow-Cone-Pale Ivory”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pairs are expected to arrive on 6 August although neither parties have ascertained it in any official capacity. Also, a US$200 have been attached to them with a release to be expected at their respective stores. They’re months away so anything can change from now ’til then.
